Data deletion requests

Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:

• Your name and the email address or WhatsApp number the data relates to (with country code).
• If the data comes from WhatsApp, the name of the business you were messaging, if you know it.
• What you would like deleted.

We do not currently offer an automated deletion option inside WhatsApp, so please use email.

We will confirm we have received your request and may ask you to confirm that it comes from you. If the data is held for a business that uses ARKA, that business decides how its customers' data is used, so we may need to consult it before we act. We will respond promptly and act within the time that the law applicable to you requires.

Where we are able to delete, we remove the data from our live systems: contact details, messages and documents, booking records and related notes. We may keep what we are required by law to keep, and records needed to handle a dispute.

Daily database backups are kept for about 14 days. Deleted data disappears from backups as they expire; we do not edit individual records inside a backup.
